Kairocal — Indian brokerage calculator
Kairocal is a free brokerage calculator for Indian equity, F&O, commodity, and currency trades. Enter buy price, sell price, and quantity, pick a broker and segment, and it returns brokerage, STT, exchange transaction charges, SEBI fee, IPFT, stamp duty, DP charges, GST, net P&L, and the break-even sell price.
Compare the same trade across every supported broker, inspect the charges database, or read the methodology. Estimates follow public tariff sheets — always confirm against your live contract note. Kairocal is built by ZOD404 — official profiles and contact links are in the creator card and footer.

Frequently asked questions
- How does Kairocal calculate brokerage and taxes?
- Kairocal applies each broker's published tariff plus statutory Indian market charges: STT, NSE or BSE transaction charges, SEBI turnover fee, IPFT, stamp duty, DP charges on delivery or MTF sells, and 18% GST on brokerage and eligible fees. Net P&L is gross profit minus the full charge stack.
- Which brokers can I calculate charges for?
- The calculator covers Zerodha, Groww, Angel One, Dhan, Upstox, FYERS, 5Paisa, ICICI Direct, HDFC Securities, and Kotak Securities across equity delivery, intraday, MTF, futures, options, commodity, and currency.
- What charges are included besides brokerage?
- Besides brokerage, Kairocal includes Securities Transaction Tax (STT), exchange transaction charges, SEBI fees, IPFT, stamp duty, depository participant (DP) charges per ISIN, and GST. The breakdown is shown in a contract-note style ledger.
- Is this the same as my broker contract note?
- Kairocal is an estimate built from public tariff schedules. Actual contract notes can differ due to security groups, rounding, auctions, or broker billing configuration. Always verify against your broker before trading or filing returns.
- How do I compare brokers for the same trade?
- Enter buy price, sell price, and quantity once, then open Compare. Kairocal runs the same trade through every broker and sorts by lowest total charges so you can see net P&L side by side.
- What is the break-even sell price?
- Break-even is the sell price where net P&L is exactly zero after brokerage, STT, exchange fees, stamp duty, DP, and GST. Kairocal finds it with a binary search over the non-linear charge stack.
